Terms of Service
1. The service
LiturgyFlow helps approved parish users generate Mass presentation decks, posters, song plans, and related media. Features may change. Access may be invite-only or membership-gated.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and authorized to act for your parish/community where you use parish branding.
- You are responsible for account credentials and activity under your account.
- We may suspend accounts for abuse, security risk, or Terms violations.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload or generate unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or deceptive content.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export hymn lyrics, readings, or other protected content beyond normal parish use.
- Attempt unauthorized access, disrupt rate limits, or reverse-engineer the service except as allowed by law.
- Misrepresent affiliation with the Holy See, a diocese, or another parish.
- Use AI image tools to create harmful, pornographic, or rights-infringing imagery.
4. Content you provide
- You retain rights in logos, celebrant names, custom lyrics, and other materials you upload.
- You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service.
- You warrant that you have all rights and licenses needed for hymns, music, images, and text you use or share (including choir practice links).
5. Liturgical texts, hymns & third-party IP
Scripture and liturgical texts may be subject to copyright (e.g. USCCB / CCD, Grail, ICEL). Hymn lyrics and recordings are frequently owned by publishers (GIA, OCP, etc.). You are solely responsible for obtaining performance, display, and reproduction rights for your parish. See our Copyright & IP notice.
6. AI-generated & sourced images
- AI poster/image features may send prompts to third-party providers. Outputs can be inaccurate or similar to other works; you must review before public use.
- Openverse / Creative Commons backgrounds require attribution and license compliance as shown in-product.
- We do not guarantee that any generated image is free of third-party rights claims.
7. Demo / guest generation
Public demo decks may be watermarked, rate-limited, and provided “as is” for evaluation only. They are not a substitute for an approved parish account.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Liturgical accuracy, lectionary completeness, and hymn recommendations are aids only — verify against official sources before Mass.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50 / PHP equivalent.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify LiturgyFlow against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your failure to secure copyright licenses (including hymn lyrics and images).
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms breaches or platform risk. Provisions that should survive (IP, indemnity, liability limits) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
