1. Our platform IP
The LiturgyFlow software, branding, UI, and documentation are owned by LiturgyFlow or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute the platform except as allowed by these terms.
2. Hymn lyrics & music
- Many hymns remain under copyright. Presence in our catalog or practice shares does not grant a public-performance, reproduction, or broadcast license.
- Obtain licenses from the copyright owner / publisher / CCLI / OneLicense / local rights body as required for your diocese.
- Do not bulk-export or republish catalog lyrics outside liturgical parish use authorized by the rights holder.
- Choir practice links are for invited singers; protect PINs and do not post publicly if lyrics are restricted.
3. Scripture & liturgical texts
- Lectionary readings and liturgical translations may be copyrighted (e.g. USCCB / CCD, ICEL, Grail). Use must comply with those publishers’ permissions.
- Generated slides are an aid — verify against official books before Mass.
4. Images & posters
Parish uploads
You must own or have a license for logos and photos you upload. Do not upload images of people without appropriate permission.
Openverse / Creative Commons backgrounds
- When we display a Gospel background from Openverse or similar, we show creator/license attribution in the UI.
- Follow the license (BY, SA, NC, ND, etc.). Keep attribution when you republish.
- If an image is mis-licensed or you are the owner, email us for removal.
AI-generated images
- AI outputs may be restricted by provider terms and may resemble existing works.
- Review every AI image before parish or social use. You assume risk for third-party claims.
- Do not prompt for copyrighted characters, living artists’ protected styles as a substitute for licensed art, or unlawful content.
5. Third-party embeds
- YouTube previews use privacy-enhanced embeds and require media cookie consent.
- Embedding a video does not grant music/sync rights for local recording or livestream beyond YouTube’s terms and your licenses.
6. Copyright complaint / DMCA-style notice
If you believe content on LiturgyFlow infringes your copyright, email copyright@liturgyflow.com with:
- Your contact information and signature (physical or electronic).
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- URL or description of the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
We may remove or disable access to material and, where appropriate, notify the user. Repeat infringers may lose access. Counter-notices may be submitted with equivalent detail if material was removed in error.
7. Philippines & international note
Copyright protection also arises under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293) and applicable treaties. Nothing here waives rights you have under those laws.
